Ministry and outreach are important to Living Hope Church.  There are many ways throughout the year to get involved in helping others.  Some of the ministry opportunities are listed below.  If you are interested in getting involved let Pastor Wayne know and he will help get you plugged in.

Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:30 pm, several ladies get together at the church to tie blankets for various ministry opportunities.  Blankets are made and given at various times throughout the year to victims at the Children’s Inn, new mothers, people that are sick, a sick child and other areas of need where a blanket can provide warmth and a sense of security, love and care.

Every year the congregation has an opportunity to donate items to the Samaritan’s Purse ministry.  The children and youth take time during one of the Wednesday night programs to put the boxes together.  It is important for the children and youth at Living Hope to participate in ministry opportunities so they learn and come to understand the importance of helping others in the name of Christ.

Throughout the year donations for gently used or new coats are taken. Living Hope Church desires to bless members of the congregation and people of all ages in the Tea community that don’t have the funds to purchase a nice coat or jacket to keep them warm.  Donations are always welcome!

Members of the congregation put meals together throughout the year so meals can be taken to church members and people in the community as they are sick, become new or expectant mothers, are struggling are as a need arises.  Sometimes it takes so little to let people know you are thinking about and praying for them.

School supply boxes are donated and put together once a year for a ministry that gives the supplies to children that don’t have the funds to purchase them.  The children and youth at Living Hope help assemble the boxes as another ministry opportunity for them to be involved with.

These are just a few of the ministry opportunities  at Living Hope Church.  We are the hands and feet of Jesus and we all work together to bring glory and honor to our God and to bless others for His name sake.
